Apeldoorn, May 29, 2024 – Investment company Riverdam has strengthened its fast-growing buy-and-build platform Smizer with a majority stake in Altios Cloud Experts, a specialized IT and Telecom managed services provider based in Apeldoorn. Since its founding in 2015, Altios Cloud Experts has been providing high-quality cloud ICT solutions for a variety of organizations, with a focus on central and eastern Netherlands. With this strategic acquisition, Riverdam strengthens the Smizer platform for regionally operating IT Managed Services Providers.
Accelerating growth at regionally operating IT Managed Service Providers
The IT sector in the Netherlands is growing rapidly and plays a crucial role in the digitization of other industries. Riverdam has embraced this trend and invested heavily over the past three years in acquiring regionally active IT Managed Services Providers. The addition of Altios Cloud Experts to the Smizer platform, which is now spread across four locations in the Netherlands (Emma Solutions ICT in Den Bosch, Office IT in Sneek, Xaris ICT in Wognum and Altios Cloud Experts in Apeldoorn), further expands Smizer’s nationwide reach.
