Apeldoorn, Oct. 8, 2024 – Altios Cloud Experts, part of investment company Riverdam’s buy and build platform Smizer, has acquired Consulutions, based in Zutphen, the Netherlands. This acquisition strengthens Altios’ position in the region and accelerates its growth in Apeldoorn, further supporting customers in the increasing demand for managed online workspaces and communication services.
Altios Cloud Experts provides cloud solutions that allow employees to work securely and flexibly wherever they are. “This strategic expansion with Consulutions fits into our broader plan to actively invest in growth through Smizer. In addition to organic development, we continue to search for suitable acquisition candidates in Central and Eastern Netherlands, with which we will strengthen our regional position and further expand our high-quality services,” said Jan-Hendrik Straatman, Altios’ managing director. With the addition of Consulutions, Altios expects to grow even faster, further professionalize within the Apeldoorn-based organization and better support non-profit organizations and SMEs with services such as online workplace management, VoIP, cloud services and ICT management.
Smizer: growth platform for IT Managed Service Providers
Riverdam established Smizer as a platform for investing in and expanding regional IT Managed Service Providers (MSPs) in the Netherlands. The acquisition of Consulutions marks a further strengthening of the platform, which now includes five regional MSPs, including Emma Solutions ICT in Den Bosch, Office IT in Sneek, Xaris ICT in Wognum, Altios Cloud Experts in Apeldoorn and ILC-Europe in Eindhoven. Through this expansion, Smizer offers a wide range of advanced ICT solutions for companies in the SME and non-profit sectors.
